A few weeks ago or so, Twitter has removed nofollow attributes from its links. Well, it seems that now those nofollow link attributes have been added back. Glenn Gabe noticed this last Friday, just before the 4th of July long weekend.
Here’s a screenshot from Glenn from Friday, but yes, nofollow is still on the links at the time I wrote this post:

So it’s a link building strategy – just kidding if it’s not obvious…
As I wrote when Twitter removed nofollow from links, I said I doubt it Google would count them anyway.
In any case, I thought I’d report this to keep you all updated on the current state of Twitter links. 🙂
