Google fixes a seek Console computer virus that marks pages as listed while they’re not

Google has simply introduced that it has fixed a computer virus with Google search Console that marked pages as listed once they weren’t. Google stated the malicious program “affected many functions”.

Google wrote beforehand Twitter “today we fixed an issue with search Console that affected many properties: we had been reporting non-listed pages as indexed.”

Google stated “as a result, you may see a decline in listed pages on your index coverage document.”

So remember to check your coverage report in Google seek Console to peer if there are any most important changes in the indexed and non-indexed file.

Many SEOs will now not have fun reporting this to their customers or stakeholders. For all of you who’ve been telling your customers that X pages of the web page have been listed by way of Google, and now you’ve got to tell them that best Y pages were indexed, this isn’t going to be a laugh.
