Instead of using Google Tag Manager or the Global Site Tag code to expire cookies or settings, you can now update them in GA4.

Google announced last week that if you want to change your default cookie settings, you can do so right in the GA4 properties column section of your account.

Read the notice and help guide. You can read notification and learn how to change these settings here.

Why do we care? You can now make these changes faster and easier through GA4, instead of contacting your developer or updating your site’s global tag.
