Is Google advertisements checking out map pin advertisements with location images?

Google Maps may be testing a map pin advert format that functions snap shots or pics of a neighborhood business. I can’t repeat this, I don’t even recognize if this is new or not, however this become shared with me Twitter Vishal Sharma who confirmed it in action.

Clicking at the pin will load an advert with a closer take a look at the photo (click to increase):

i am now not sure if these are new, but i have spent manner too much time on Google Maps seeking out those forms of map pins primarily based on the advert photos and haven’t discovered anything.
