Sam Gooch noticed that on June 13, 2022, if you filter the Google Search Console performance report, it will show a video search appearance and desktop-only results. I was able to emulate this and Daniel Waisberg from Google said that it should be investigated by the Google team.
Here is a screenshot showing the straight line of this report as posted by Sam Twitter:
Sam said: “I’ve also noticed that online video clicks have dropped to zero for all sites I have access to (see attached for filters). Are you seeing the same thing? Also seems to be desktop search only …”
Google’s Daniel Waisberg responded on Twitter, saying: “Thanks for reporting, looking into it.”
Again, this really looks like a reporting error as I can reproduce it in all my verified GSC properties. So don’t panic, this is probably something Google needs to fix eventually.
