Usually, when someone sends me a sophisticated snippet of search results from Google and I dig deeper, I find the reason why Google came up with this snippet. However, in this case, Google seems to be a bit more sophisticated below and shows the pros and cons in the snippet, without the site specifically mentioning the pros and cons.
This was noticed by @_spamtaylor on Twitter who said in reviews that the SERP features are “Pros and Cons”. He shared these two screenshots:
If you delve into the first result for the query [esho drench review] and then look the actual page you will not see any mention of the word “for” or “against”. Google comes up with this on its own.
I’m not 100% sure how new this is, but overall, when I’m presented with snippets like this, I see that it stems from the content on the page. I don’t see this content on the page right now – but maybe this content has changed recently?
