Google is testing the FAQ section of the Google News tab in Google Search, which consists of trending searches related to this story. I’m not sure if this is new, but both Brian Freiesleben and Saijo George believe it is, so I’ll agree with their courage.

Here is a screenshot of this from Brian Freiesleben onwards Twitter:

Brian said this “frequently asked questions” field can be based on trending searches related to your query. He said he conducted a search for “Yellowstone” on the Google News tab and it “was probably triggered by a huge amount of updates in the last 24 hours around Yellowstone National Park,” he said.

I’ve tried to do it again, but I don’t see it, do I?

It’s as if people are also asking, but more in real time and addressed frequently asked questions on this news tab.
