Yoast SEO 18.7: Schema Improvements

If we continue with the maintenance releases, we present Yoast SEO 18.7. In this release, we fix several bugs and add some improvements. This time there are quite a few improvements to our implementation of the structured schema data. Read on to find out what’s new in Yoast SEO 18.7.

Structured data is where it is

Structured data is an essential part of today’s SEO puzzle. It helps you speak directly to search engines in a language you understand. The schema allows you to describe all these different parts and entities and how all these parts connect. In use structured data in Yoast SEOyou are laying the red carpet for search engines, which could increase the chance of getting rich results.

Implementing a structured data scheme in Yoast SEO is one of the best. We build the perfect graph for your site and connect everything in an easy way. We also continue to build on structured data.

In Yoast SEO 18.7 we improve the structured data schema by changing it @id for pictures for Person in Organization including the logo attribute for the latter to have a more appropriate design. We also fixed the bug in the schema where it is thumbnailUrl attribute Article the subject would be wrong if the post had an Open Graph or Twitter image. Last but not least, we added a wpseo_schema_graph a filter that allows filtering of the entire schema graph.

Other improvements in Yoast SEO 18.7

We also improved ours in Yoast SEO 18.7 SEO analysis. We don’t punish you anymore if you have an H1 that isn’t at the beginning of the body text. Of course, we warn you if you try to add more than one H1 to your text, and we encourage you to follow the appropriate title hierarchy.
