Google buying Carousel with shaded backgrounds

Google uses a grey shaded background shade for some consequences within the Google purchasing carousel. I’ve been capable of repeat this, with Google believing that for a few photos, a mild gray historical past works better than a white history. It’s not tiled, in which every different end result is shaded, based on a few other algorithm, perhaps the colour of the product photo?
