Google Ads has added diagnostic insights to the Insights and Overview page of the Ads Console. Diagnostic insights help you identify common reasons why your campaign might not be showing or converting.
Google announced that saying was the reason they added it because “it’s hard to identify and fix these problems in time.”
Diagnostic insights will highlight when ads from a given campaign are not showing due to all ad groups being paused, account suspension, or low ad strength, among other diagnostic checks.
When you submit a campaign, diagnostic insights are an easy way to see where you are in the campaign delivery process. Additionally, they can automatically identify issues ranging from ad policy, billing, budgeting, bidding and more. If you click “View all campaign diagnostics” you’ll get a more detailed breakdown for the following:
- Account balance
- Billing status
- Policy review
- Conversion tracking
- Advertising campaign budget
- Bidding strategy goal
- Action status
- The power of the ad
This tool was available April 2022 but not on the overview or insights page.
